Poa annua (Annual Bluegrass)
This species of Poa is an annual that does well in all zones. It is commonly found in lawns, and is a bright green, soft grass.

Poa pratensis (Kentucky Bluegrass)
This perennial grass does well in zones A1-A3, 1-3, 4-11 and 14-17. It has a blue-green hue to it, and many varieties are available as sod. Mown to 2-2.5 inches tall, and use alone or alongside other lawn grasses.

Poa trivialis (Rough-Stalked Bluegrass)
This perennial grass does well in zones A1=A3, 1-11 and 14-17, and has a fine texture. It is used in lawn mixtures because it does well in shaded areas, and can also take damp soil. Can become weedy.
