This species of groundcover is a perennial plant and needs full sun and moderate water. This groundcover forms a tight carpet of grey-green foliage and produces inconspicuous yellow flowers in springtime. Great for rock gardens, this New Zealand native needs sandy soil and perfect drainage. Hybrid variety Raulia x 'Greenstone' reaches an inch tall and 3 feet wide, with silvery green leaves.
