Lampranthus
( lamp - RANTH - us )
At-A-Glance InformationThis succulent flowering perennial, known commonly as Ice Plant, needs full sun and little to no water. They are from South Africa, and have some of the brightest, most brilliant flower colors available. Plants are fleshy and either erect or trailing. All are woody at the bases. After blooms fade, cut back lightly to encourage growth and eliminate fruit capsules. Great for seaside properties. The flowers will attract bees to your garden.
