Maackia amurensis (Amur Maackia) This species, native to Manchuria and Siberia, reaches 60 feet tall and wide, but tops out around 30 feet in garden settings. The tree has a broad and rounded head and dark green leaves. Bark is bronze and peels off in curling flakes. Variety 'Starburst' is a more compact, vigorous grower. |
