Mazus reptans

At-A-Glance InformationThis species of perennial flowering plants is commonly used for groundcover, and needs partial shade in the warmest climates of its zone range, as well as regular waterings for best flowering and performance. It grows 2 inches tall and spreads to a foot or wider by stems that creep and root where they touch ground. Leaves are bright green, and flowers are purple-blue with white and yellow markings. Blooms set in springtime to early summer, and appear in clusters of two to five. Mazus reptans grows best in zones 1-9 and 14-24. To find your zone, click here: Zone Map.
