Molinia caerulea
( ??? )
At-A-Glance InformationKnown commonly as Moor Grass, this species needs full sun to partial shade and regular to ample water to perform well. This perennial is native to moist areas from the British Isles to Siberia, and does not like dry, alkaline conditions. These grasses are slow-growing but long-lived, and form neat, dense clumps, topped with yellow-purple flowers in summertime. They make wonderful additions to cut flower arrangements.
