Commonly called Leather Fern, this species of fern needs full sun to partial shade and moderate to regular water. It has deep green, glossy, finely-cut foliage and is great for adding to cut flower arrangements. It is native to tropical and subtropical areas of the world, and reaches 3 feet tall and wide, spreading wider by rhizomes. Great for hanging baskets. These ferns are hardy down to 24 degrees Fahrenheit. Leather Fern does well in zones 14-17, 19-24, H1 and H2.
