Stromanthe ramosissima
Native to montane forests in Ecuador, this species produces large, glossy green leaves and infloresences of orange to yellow flowers. These plants reach about 8 feet tall at the most.

Stromanthe sanguinea
These plants are native to the Brazilian rainforest, and produces leaves with green upper surfaces and red to purplish undersides. This species is commonly kept as an ornamental houseplant, and variety 'Tricolor' has leaves marked with white and pink.
