Syllabus
This class is set up so that the first modules are pretty basic, and move on to more difficult or technical modules towards the end. There is an individual project that is part of this course, and I suggest that all who take the class send their project to me so that I can post it and share it with fellow green thumbs! If you do not want to do this part of the course, it is not required to gain a full understanding of gardening, so feel free to skip it.

Botany I

Plant Identification I
This module will be interesting for those of you who love identifying and discovering new plants. This first plant identification module covers shrubs, vines and trees. When you're finished with this module, you'll have a knowledge and resource of common plants in these three categories in the Bay Area, and be able to readily identify them when you see them.
